    NEW CONCERT SERIES "JUST THE BEATS" STARTS THIS SUMMER IN CLEVELAND METROPARKS

        Summer is here, ushering in the best weather to enjoy music outside.




        This summer, Cleveland Metroparks invites you to enjoy the newest outdoors concert series, �Just The Beats� Summer Concert Series at Garfield Park Nature Center on Wednesdays in July and August from 6:30 to 8 p.m.


        What started out last year as an African Drum Circle has expanded to four different sounds coming to Garfield Park Reservation.


        Stop by for these free concerts and enjoy the sound of music in the park:


    Victor Samalot

    July 10

    Enjoy some fiery Latin/Jazz acoustic guitar, from solo performer Victor Samalot.


     


    The Western Reserve Community Band

    July 17

    With a 14-year history, The Western Reserve Community Band plays a variety of instrumental music.



    The Raybans

    July 24

    This steel drum duo entertains audiences with a variety of island, tropical and beach music.


     


    Olu Manns

    August 14

    Co-founder of African Drum Circle band, HeartBEAT Afrika, Manns is a second-generation percussionist, who has been performing nationally since he was 16-years-old.


     


        Bring a chair and a friend!


        Garfield Park Nature Center is located off the Broadway Avenue entrance of Garfield Park Reservation in Garfield Heights - north of the I-480/Broadway Avenue exit.
