    Does the thought of live snakes make your skin crawl? Snakes are often misunderstood and misrepresented.


        Slither over to CanalWay Center in Cleveland Metroparks Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation during the month of March for �snake month.� Learn more about the historic symbolism of snakes and their natural history and see live snakes on display.


        The free snakes programs offered in March are:



    Snakes Of The World

    Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 31 � 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily

    CanalWay Center � Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation

    Snakes have been used by many cultures as symbols of both, good and bad. Come learn some of the historic symbolism of snakes, as well as their natural history. View several live snakes (local species and exotics) on display throughout the month of March. CanalWay Center is located on Whittlesey Way, off the East 49th Street entrance of Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation, between Grant Avenue and Canal Road in Cuyahoga Heights.     Snake: Meet and Eat

    Sunday, March 3 AND Saturday, March 9 AND Saturday, March 16 � 2 - 3 p.m.

    March is �snake month� at CanalWay Center. Come meet several live snakes up-close-and-personal and see if and what they eat.
