Pack up your den full of cubs for the return of Teddy Bear Day at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Saturday, September 7! Kids ages 2-11 receive FREE admission that day when they bring a plush pal of any species and are accompanied by a paying adult.
Special Teddy Bear Day activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 including complimentary teddy bear check-ups with fuzzy physicians who will hand out Beary Good Health Certificates, the Radio Disney team and a teddy bear parade. At the UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Safety Zone, children will become teddy bear doctors as they learn how to stay safe from injuries.
There will be chances to hear more about how the Zoo takes care of its bears during Meet-the-Keeper sessions, and of course see all the Zoo's bears in Northern Trek, including grizzly bears, North American black bear, polar bear, Malayan sun bear, sloth bear and Andean bear. These programs will highlight the exceptional care the Zoo's bears receive and will encourage visitors to get more involved in efforts to conserve their wild counterparts.
