Cleveland Metroparks invites everyone to learn about the creatures of the night with a variety of �night programs� in May, including:
Family Friday Night: Who pollinated me?
Friday, May 3 � 6:30 - 8 p.m.
North Chagrin Nature Center � North Chagrin Reservation
Flowers bloom to attract insects and other animals to help them spread their pollen. Learn about flower adaptation and the groups of insects who pollinate them. Enjoy a game of Who Pollinated Me? to test pollination knowledge. This program is for children ages 6 to 12 with an adult. North Chagrin Nature Center is located off Buttermilk Falls Parkway, off the Sunset Lane entrance of North Chagrin Reservation, off SOM Center Road/Route 91 in Mayfield Village. Not so Late Night Hike

Chagrin River Road sledding hill � South Chagrin Reservation
As the sun sets, much life rises for a night of activity in the forest and ponds of South Chagrin. This night hike is great for families. Chagrin River Road Sledding Hill is located at the corner of Miles Road and Chagrin River Road in South Chagrin Reservation, east of SOM Center Road/Route 91 in Bentleyville. Woodlands of Bedford: Nighttime Experiences

Bedford Reservation
Bring a lawn chair and join Volunteer Naturalist Fred Losi on a nocturnal watch for American Woodcocks, owls, coyotes, migrating birds, stars and planets. Registration is required for this event. Celebrate the full flower moon with a twilight hike through the forest. Search for the last spring wildflowers and nocturnal animals awakening. The program ends with roasting marshmallows around a crackling campfire under the light of the full moon. Every year, 80 percent of the world's sandhill cranes make their way through Nebraska's central Platte River Valley during spring migration. Experience their journey and hear the stories of the people trying to protect them in this free movie, Crane Song. Doors open at 7 p.m. This program is for families with older children and adults. Meet at the Trailside Amphitheatre (along the trail behind the nature center) for a good old-fashioned campfire with stories and songs. Bring a story or song to share. When the fire dies down, gather around to roast marshmallows.
