Lots of little critters will be lurking in our park after dark when the family-friendly spooktacular Boo at the Zoo returns to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo!
Now entering its 23rd year, Boo at the Zoo takes over the Zoo from 6-9 p.m. October 18-21 and 25-28. Tickets are on sale now at clemetzoo.com and at the Zoo's Box Office. General admission is $8, children younger than 2 are free and Zoo Members receive $1 off each admission. Last year, several nights sold out, so get your tickets now to avoid missing out!
Boo at the Zoo is a safe, not scary, Halloween adventure for the whole family, and a great way to see many of your favorite animals at night including grizzly bears, wolves, tigers, lions and elephants. Boo at the Zoo transforms the Zoo into a spooky safari with decorations, lights, music and special activities just right for younger guests.
Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume and get into the holiday spirit with Ghostly Golf, the Hay Maze, the Jack O'Lantern Express train ride, Get Close animal encounters and lots of photo opportunities with costumed characters.
Treats are in store for some of our animals as well! Catch a nightly pumpkin feeding with the Zoo's elephants in African Elephant Crossing and watch our herd gobble pumpkins in one bite. Be on the lookout for magicians, stilt-walkers, clowns and jugglers. Go wild at the Monster Mash dance party, explore the Not-So-Haunted Greenhouse and visit UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital Halloween Safety Zone at the Center for Zoological Medicine.
There's so much to see, you might have to come twice!
Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights to illuminate some of the darker areas of the Zoo.
