Gain fresh ideas, practices and practical tools that can be
applied to both personal and professional work. Sign up for the
Changing Light, Changing Season workshop with Erica Wheeler on
Sunday, November 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Look About Lodge in South
Chagrin Reservation.
Erica Wheeler is an award-winning singer-songwriter, an
accomplished keynote speaker and a dynamic workshop facilitator.
With six CDs to her credit, Erica has been featured on NPR's All
Things Considered, and her music has graced the Top 10 on
Billboard's Americana Chart. Her most recent CD, Good
Summer Rain, was sponsored in part by the Trust for Public
Land, a national land conservation organization. She is able to
combine her music career with her lifelong interest in natural and
cultural history and conservation issues.
Join Wheeler for an afternoon of music and personal reflection,
sharing stories and memories of places that have personal
meaning.
While writing is part of this workshop, it is not necessary to
have previous writing experience or to be considered a creative
person. The only necessity for joining this workshop is having a
sense of place and the ability to be open to divulge experiences
from the past and learn a few new skills to help express personal
stories.
This program is for everyone including individuals, educators
and students. It is also great for outreach and engagement
programs, and for professional development.
Registration and a $45 fee are required (includes a journal,
snacks and leadership). Space is limited.
Look About Lodge is located at 37374 Miles Road in South Chagrin
Reservation, between SOM Center Road/Route 91 and Chagrin River
Road in Bentleyville.
