Have you ever wondered what goes into predicting the weather?
Where hot and cold fronts come from and their effects on
conditions? Or, what the different types of clouds mean?
Well, here is a chance to find out with a special 3-day For
Adults Only program all about meteorology!
Join Cleveland Metroparks on Thursday, May 24 and Friday, May 25
from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brecksville Nature Center in Brecksville
Reservation and Saturday, May 26 (time to be determined) at WKYC
Channel 3!
This three-part program takes the mystery out of meteorology and
the fiction out of forecasting. Get the low down on lows and highs,
clouds, and lake effect through handouts, lecture, and hands-on
activity. Participants receive their own books and must
attend all three parts. Registration and a $15 fee person or
$25 per couple are required. Space is limited.
Brecksville Nature Center is located off Chippewa Creek Drive,
off the Route 82 entrance of Brecksville Reservation in
Brecksville.
