    Did You Know? You Can Give A Gift To Nature Online To Support Cleveland Metroparks

    Cleveland Metroparks is considered by many as one of the most
    treasured �gifts� of Northeast Ohio. The Park District provides
    opportunities for quiet reflection and joyous festivities,
    recreation for every season, outdoor education for all ages, and a
    sense of knowing that the natural landscape cherished by many will
    be preserved and protected for generations to come.



    To help ensure that Cleveland Metroparks remains an oasis of
    green, the �Emerald Necklace Endowment Fund' was established.
    Contributions by many patrons of Northeast Ohio have made it
    possible to protect and preserve the Park District, and are an
    important gift to Cleveland Metroparks.



    And now, giving to Cleveland Metroparks just got easier. Gifts
    can be made online at clevelandmetroparks.com by clicking on
    �donate� at the bottom of the page.



    Gifts may be designated to a favorite reservation or facility or
    the following programs:



    � Branching Out - A program to support
    reforestation throughout Cleveland Metroparks now and



    in the future. Through a gift of $1,800, a tree will be planted
    in the reservation or golf course of



    your choice and will support future tree planting.



    � Emerald Necklace Endowment Fund - Established
    within The Cleveland Foundation to preserve



    and protect Cleveland Metroparks for generations to come. Funds
    contributed to the Emerald



    Necklace Endowment Fundremain within the fund and generate
    annual income to benefit all



    aspects of Cleveland Metroparks.



    � Fishing Fund - Helps provide a rewarding fishing
    experience throughout the Park District



    with fish stocking and habitat enhancement.



     



    � Golf Education Fund - Contributes to all aspects
    of the Junior Golf Program at the Park District's eight golf
    courses, including instructional clinics, leagues, tournaments and
    full week day camps.



    � Legacy Fund - Benefits Cleveland Metroparks
    efforts to conserve and enhance the Park District



    through tree and wildlife plantings. Legacygifts are also a
    meaningful way to honor a loved one,



    celebrate a special occasion or pay tribute to an
    individual.



    � Outdoor Education Fund - Assists with
    special exhibits, programs, resource materials and



    equipment to provide outstanding opportunities for all ages to
    experience the natural world



    through outdoor learning.



    � Ranger Department K-9 Unit Fund - Helps provide
    veterinary care, specialized training and



    equipment to ensure the safety of all Park District visitors as
    well as promote public safety.



    � Ranger Department Mounted Unit Fund - Supports
    ongoing training and equipment purchases to ensure the safety of
    all Park District visitors, while conserving natural resources.



    � Trails Fund - Assists with rehabilitation of the
    Park District's extensive trail system. Natural



    surface trail improvements will meet sustainable standards to
    minimize natural resource impact



    and maintenance while maximizing user enjoyment.
