It's time for all art students to think spring and put their
nature inspirations on canvas.
Students in grades 1 through 12 are invited to submit their best
piece of art for Cleveland Metroparks Student Art Show on May 5 and
6 at Look About Lodge in South Chagrin Reservation. Entries are
being accepted now through Thursday, April 5at 4 p.m.
The show is themed, �Spring is Hopping and Popping in Nature.�
Students venturing outdoors will have spectacular spring scenery
for inspiration. Whether it's blooming wildflowers and woodland
critters or bluebirds and cardinals, the sights and sounds of
spring abound in Cleveland Metroparks reservations.
Some Student Art Show guidelines include:
- Eligible students must be in grade 1 through 12.
- Artwork must be two-dimensional and depict the theme: �Spring
is Hopping and Popping in Nature.�
- No photographs.
- Artwork must be original, created without tracing, stencils,
computer clip art or direct adult help.
- One entry allowed per student.
- An Entry Form must be attached to the back of the artwork. To

- Entry must be framed with wire backing (no �tooth�
- Artwork that does not comply with the rules will not be

Cleveland Metroparks 2012 Student Art Show exhibit will be held
on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon and on Sunday, May 6 from
noon to 3 p.m. at Look About Lodge in South Chagrin
Look About Lodge is located at 37374 Miles Road in South Chagrin
Reservation, between SOM Center Road/Route 91 and Chagrin River
Road in Bentleyville.
