Cleveland Metroparks Brookside Reservation will be groovin' at
the 5th Annual �BrookStock - A Celebration of Music
& Nature� event on Saturday, July 21 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the
Brookside Valley Event Site in Brookside Reservation in
Cleveland.
Music-lovers can bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the
free concerts by five local groups playing Americana/acoustic rock,
blues, rockabilly/folk, Appalachian swamp rock, swamp pop, and
more.
Featured bands at �BrookStock� are:
Main Stage -
2 p.m. - 730 Club ~ eclectic mix of classic rock
3:30 p.m. - Brittany Riley Band ~ acoustic roots and
country
5 p.m. - Latin Crew ~ salsa and Latin jazz
6:30 p.m. - DC - 4 ~ blues
Event-goers can also visit with vendors and exhibitors, make
arts and crafts, play games and activities, take a hike, meet some
live animals, and more!
The vendors and exhibitors include: Friends of Big Creek,
Gaughan Bee Dancin', Greater Cleveland Beekeepers Association,
Renewal by Andersen, Woodstock Soap, and more.
And, to capture some of the �Woodstock� charm and appeal,
visitors can walk through the �Volkswagen Village.�
Refreshments will be available, and adults, age 21 and over, can
purchase Great Lakes Brewing Company beer for $4 a bottle in the
�Beer Garden.�
Brookside Valley Event Site is located off John Nagy Blvd., off
the Ridge Rd. entrance of Brookside Reservation in Cleveland -
north of the I-480/Ridge Rd. exit.
