    This July, Cleveland Metroparks visitors are invited to enjoy
    unique art exhibits and programs, including:



    Artist's Display



    Sunday, July 1 through Friday, August 31 � 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.,
    daily



    CanalWay Center � Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation



    Akron artist Cari Miller will display her series of painted
    recycled and repurposed item art. Miller specializes in acrylic on
    canvas and wooden mirror frames, photography, assemblages with
    recycled objects, pottery and t-shirts. Miller will be at CanalWay
    Center on Saturday, July 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. Guests can participate
    in a �Litter Pick Up� followed by a recycling and repurposed item
    craft. CanalWay Center is located on Whittlesey Way, off the East
    49th Street entrance of Ohio & Erie Canal
    Reservation, between Grant Avenue and Canal Road in Cuyahoga

    Rocky River Nature Center � Rocky River Reservation



    Rivers flow in nature and art. View the Rocky River, then view
    the rivers interpreted through pastels by artist Gary Sluzewski. A
    regular contributor to art shows at M.D. Garage Gallery, Sluzewski
    is a member of the Crooked River Gang, a group of artists devoted
    to art of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Sluzewski will be at
    Rocky River Nature Center on Saturday, July 14 from 2 to 5 p.m.
    Rocky River Nature Center is located at 24000 Valley Parkway in
    Rocky River Reservation, north of Cedar Point Road in North

    North Chagrin Nature Center � North Chagrin
    Reservation



    Doug West has been a bird photographer since 2006. His images
    have appeared in local publications, calendars, Birds and Bloom
    Magazine
    , Popular Photography and the North American
    Nature Photographers Association. North Chagrin Nature Center is
    located off Buttermilk Falls Parkway, off the Sunset Lane entrance
    of North Chagrin Reservation, off SOM Center Road/Route 91 in

    Jackson Field � South Chagrin Reservation



    Naturalist-Artist Stefanie Verish will be at Wiley Creek,
    sketching the wildlife. Stop by for a look, or bring your own
    supplies and join her in an artistic endeavor, weather permitting.

    Reservation, north of Miles Road, east of SOM Center Road/Route 91

    Look About Lodge � South Chagrin Reservation



    Moths have beautiful wing patterns often unappreciated, as these
    insects are nocturnal. Come and learn more about these pollinators
    of the night, draw them in, and draw them again with chalk pastels.
    Registration is required by July 23 for this ages 12 & older
    program. Look About Lodge is located at 37374 Miles Road in South
    Chagrin Reservation, between SOM Center Road/Route 91 and Chagrin
    River Road in Bentleyville. For more information and registration,

    Drawing Big Bugs and Blooms

    Jackson Field � South Chagrin Reservation



    Explore a summer field and find beauty in Ohio's flowers and
    pollinators. Take tiny critters and draw them larger than life.
    Bring your own drawing supplies for this ages 10 & older
    program. Jackson Field is located off Jackson Road in South Chagrin
    Reservation, north of Miles Road, east of SOM Center Road/Route 91

    Recycled Crafternoon



    Sunday, July 29 � 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.



    Look About Lodge � South Chagrin Reservation



    Come to Look About Lodge where instructor Linda Zolten Wood will
    guide participants through a remarkable recycled craft using
    �plarn� (plastic yarn) and collage greeting cards. Materials used
    will include old plastic grocery bags, magazines, and calendars.
    Participants are encouraged to contribute their recyclables.
    Registration and a $15 fee are required by July 20 for this ages 12
    & older program. Look About Lodge is located at 37374 Miles
    Road in South Chagrin Reservation, between SOM Center Road/Route 91
