Experience the park after dark at Cleveland
Metroparks free Nature at Night event on Saturday, July 14 from 5
to 11 p.m. at North Chagrin Nature Center in North Chagrin
    Reservation in Mayfield Village.

Nature at Night is an evening-long celebration of the beauty
and mystery of nature at night.  Visitors can enjoy a variety
of free activities related to the nighttime, including live
nocturnal animal programs, star gazing through telescopes (weather
permitting), self-guided nature night stations, a starlab, a puppet
theater and crafts, other children's crafts, and more!

With the help of the Cuyahoga Astronomical Association and their
telescopes, visitors can view stars, constellations and Saturn.

The self-guided night stations feature bats, spiders,
amphibians, and more.  Each station will have a volunteer
presenting how and why the animals enjoy the nighttime.

And, as the sun sets (approximately 9 p.m.), be sure to bring
lawn chairs/blankets to enjoy an outdoor movie on the lawn of the
nature center - this year featuring Yogi Bear.

Yogi Bear - Jellystone Park has been a losing business,
so conniving Mayor Brown has decided to shut it down and sell the
land.  Faced with the loss of his home, Yogi mist prove he is
really smarter than the average bear as he and Boo-Boo join
forces with Ranger Smith to find a way to save the park from
    closing forever.

Refreshments will also be available, and adults, ages 21 and
over, can purchase beer in the Beer Garden.

Visitors can browse the great merchandise selections of
    EarthWords Nature Shop, too.

North Chagrin Nature Center is located off Buttermilk Falls
Parkway, off the Sunset Lane entrance of North Chagrin Reservation,
off SOM Center Road/Route 91 in Mayfield Village - south of the
    I-90/Rte. 91 exit.
