    Cleveland Metroparks Travels Back In Time For The Annual "Summer Beach Party"

    Fire up the DeLorean and travel over to Cleveland
    Metroparks �Summer Beach Party!�



    Beach bums can enjoy �Marty McFly� and his time travel back to
    1955 at the free movie on the beach at the �Summer Beach
    Party�
    event on Saturday, August 4 from 5 to 11 p.m. at
    Huntington Beach in Huntington Reservation in Bay
    Village. 



    From 5 to 8 p.m., beach-goers can enjoy a variety of beach games
    and activities, including: a scavenger hunt, shake-n-bake contest,
    water balloon toss, relay races, hula hoop contests, beach blanket
    bingo, limbo, and more.  Prizes will be awarded.



    Activities from 5 to 8 p.m. also include: national award-winning
    sand sculptor Carl Jara designing a special sand sculpture
    especially for the movie �Back to the Future,� a sand
    castle-building area for visitors to try their hand, musical
    entertainment by the Calypso Gypsies Steel Drum Band, a fishing
    demonstration area with Cleveland Metroparks staff, live animals
    from Lake Erie Nature & Science Center, a dive team exhibit
    with Cleveland Metroparks Rangers, and more! 



    As darkness approaches, warm up at the campfire and enjoy the
    ever-entertaining Musical Mark at 8 p.m.



    And then, be sure to bring beach blankets and beach chairs for
    the 8:45 p.m. movie on the beach - �Back to the Future.�



    The 1985 family movie classic �Back to the Future� -
    1980s teenager Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is transported back in
    time to 1955 where he accidentally changes the course of history
    through a series of comedic adventures and finds he must return
    things to the way they were, back to the future.



    Huntington Beach is located off Lake Road in Huntington
    Reservation, between Crocker-Bassett and Columbia roads in Bay
    Village - north of the I-90/Columbia Road
    exit.
