    Summer is �the' season for backyard gardens. Whether it is a
    fresh herb garden, vegetable garden or butterfly garden, Cleveland
    Metroparks offers three different gardening programs in August for
    all to enjoy.



    The programs include:



    What's Growing at Canalway?



    Tuesdays, August 7 and 21 ∙ 9:30 -  10:30
    a.m.



    CanalWay Center ∙ Ohio & Erie Canal
    Reservation



    See the newly-planted butterfly, container, shade and vegetable
    gardens! Learn about the different featured plants and how to
    become a volunteer to help Cleveland Metroparks maintain them. This
    program is for adults and teens, ages 16 and older.  CanalWay
    Center is located on Whittlesey Way, off the East 49th
    Street entrance of Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation, between Grant
    Avenue and Canal Road in Cuyahoga Heights. For more information,

    Inviting The Planet To Dinner: A Taste Of Ohio



    Thursday, August 9 ∙ 7 - 9 p.m.



    Rocky River Nature Center ∙ Rocky River
    Reservation



    Join local Eco-Chef Rae Endreola for a scrumptious taste of
    Ohio-raised and -made artisan foods that were featured in past
    �Inviting The Planet To Dinner� meals/programs. This dinner is
    served outside near the Rocky River. Registration, beginning July
    19, and a $50 fee are required for this adults-only program. Rocky
    River Nature Center is located at 24000 Valley Parkway in Rocky
    River Reservation, north of Cedar Point Road in North Olmsted. For

    Herbs: Fragrant and Delicious!



    Saturdays, August 18 and 25 ∙ 2 - 4 p.m.
