    Cleveland Metroparks invites everyone to enjoy some beautiful
    scenery by bike.



    Enjoy a bike outing in September led by experienced staff
    members or volunteers. The four bike outings in September
    include:



    Biking the Back Roads: Ohio & Erie Canal
    Towpath



    Saturday, September 8 � 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.



    Boston Store � Cuyahoga Valley National Park



    This true historic ride travels along the Ohio & Erie Canal,
    an official National Heritage Corridor.  Riders will start
    with a quick tour of Boston Store, ride to Mustill Store in Akron,
    eat lunch and head back to Boston Store.



    Registration is required. The Boston Store is located 0.1 miles
    east of Riverview Road on Boston Mills Road. Boston Mills Road is
    0.1 of a mile south of the Boston Mills Ski Resort. For

    Bike the Canal



    Thursday, September 13 � 5:30 - 8 p.m.



    Rockside Parking Lot � Ohio & Erie Canal
    Reservation



    Join Naturalist Jill Hauger and Cultural Historian Doug Kusak as
    the bike touring adventure continues into the fall. Riders will
    start at the Rockside parking lot and head north. Enjoy the sights
    of the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. Registration, beginning
    September 4, is required. Rockside Trailhead is located off
    Rockside Road in Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation, west of Canal
    Road in Valley View. For registration and more information, call

    Fall Bicycle Ride



    Saturday, September 22 � 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.



    Bonnie Park Picnic Area � Mill Stream Run Reservation



    Join Naturalist Gretchen Motts and explore Mill Stream Run
    Reservation. Riders will head south from Bonnie Park, stop at the
    Strongsville Wildlife area and visit other places of interest
    before returning to their cars. Participants must bring their own
    bicycles, helmets and water bottles. Registration, beginning
    September 3, is required.Bonnie Park Picnic Area is located off
    Valley Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation, off Pearl Road/Route
    42 in Strongsville.

    Tour de Necklace Ride: Huntington
    Beach to Berea Falls and back!



    Sunday, Sunday 23 � 9:30 a.m.



    Huntington Beach parking lot � Huntington Reservation



    The ride begins at Huntington Beach. Riders ride into Rocky
    River Reservation as they follow the river to Berea Falls. Stops
    include Rocky River Nature Center and an ice cream break at
    Sweetwater Landing at Emerald Necklace Marina on the way back.
    Registration is required. Huntington Beach is located off Lake Road
    in Huntington Reservation in Bay Village. For registration and more
    information, call 440-786-8530.
