Cleveland Metroparks Zoo heard its fans loud and clear - you requested a Zoo discount for neighboring counties and we listened. Beginning August 14, the Zoo is bringing back Wild Weekdays so residents from neighboring Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties can enjoy the Zoo for half-price on designated weekdays.

The special discount applies to residents of surrounding counties as follows:

Tuesday, August 14: Summit County Day

Wednesday, August 15: Portage County Day

Thursday, August 16: Lake County Day

Tuesday, August 21: Medina County Day

Wednesday, August 22: Geauga County Day

Thursday August 23: Lorain County Day

On Wild Weekdays, Zoo admission for qualifying residents is half-price ($6.25 for adults, $4.25 for kids ages 2 to 11). The discount also includes admission to The RainForest. Out-of-county residents must bring a valid photo ID (with current address) to the Zoo Box Office on the specified day, or a current utility bill with another form of identification.

Residents of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township, who support Cleveland Metroparks and the Zoo through their property taxes, receive free Zoo admission on Mondays year-round.

Northeast Ohio's most-visited year-round attraction, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with hours extended to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission is $12.25 per person, $8.25 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children younger than 2 and Zoo members. Parking is free. Located at 3900 Wildlife Way, the Zoo is easily accessible from Interstates 71, 90 and 480.
