Kent State Tragedy: A Survivor's Story
Sunday, May 6 � 2 - 3:30 p.m.
CanalWay Center � Ohio & Erie Canal
Don Miller was an eyewitness to the tragedy that occurred on May
4, 1970. Hear his account of the events that happened around him
and the loss of someone he knew that fateful day. CanalWay Center
is located on Whittlesey Way, off the East 49th Street entrance of
Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation, between Grant Avenue and Canal
Road in Cuyahoga Heights. For more information, call
Mrs. Squire's Story
Saturday, May 12 � noon - 2 p.m.
Squire's Castle Picnic Area parking lot � North Chagrin
Join Cleveland Metroparks staff for a picnic on Squire's Castle
lawn. Discover a little more about the lady behind the castle, Mrs.
Louise Squire. Afterwards, take a relaxing stroll through the
surrounding forest in full springtime bloom. Participants should
bring their own picnic supplies - beverages will be provided.
Squire's Castle Picnic Area is located off Chagrin River Road in
North Chagrin Reservation, south of Chardon Road/Route 6 in

Hidden Story Hike

Eastland Road Trailhead of the Lake to
Lake Trail � Big Creek Reservation
Learn more about the history of Lake Abram. Join Naturalist
Sharon Hosko for a 2-mile hike along the Lake Abram section of the
Lake to Lake Trail and learn the hidden stories from the area. Lake
Abram and the Eastland Road Trailhead are located off Eastland Road
in Big Creek Reservation, just north of Bagley Road in Middleburg
