Boo at the Zoo returns for 22nd year at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Northeast Ohio's premier family friendly Halloween event is a spooky safari after dark
There may not be anything that goes bump in the night, but there's sure to be some growls, howls and roars at the 22nd annual Boo at the Zoo at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo!
This year, Boo at the Zoo runs from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 20-23 and 27-30. Tickets are on sale now at clemetzoo.com or at the Zoo's Box Office from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. General admission is $8 per person and free for children younger than 2. Zoo Society members save $1 off the general admission price.
Halloween fun is waiting at every turn as Boo transforms the Zoo into a safe, not scary, holiday adventure, including a complimentary treat bag for each child. Kids (and parents) are invited to wear costumes and experience the Zoo after dark.
Kids can sink a putt on the Ghostly Golf course, show off their moves at the Monster Mash Dance Party, ride the Jack O'Lantern Express, wander through the Hay Maze, and see live animals up close with Get Close encounters.
Costumed characters will roam the Zoo along with magicians, stilt-walkers, clowns and jugglers. There's a Not-So-Haunted Greenhouse, live music, crafts, Radio Disney at the Rising Waters Camp, and a Halloween Safety Zone sponsored by Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
There's so much to see, you might have to come twice! But act now because many nights of Boo at the Zoo will be sold out!
Attendees are encouraged to bring flashlights to illuminate some of the darker areas of the Zoo. Allow extra travel time to drive safely in and out of the Zoo.
