Ever wonder about birds and the eggs they lay? Or, where those
beautiful earth tones come from when coloring eggs?
Cleveland Metroparks answers these questions and more at
following programs this April:
Egg Hunt Exhibit
Friday, April 1 thru April 30 � 9:30 a.m. - 5
GarfieldParkNatureCenter � GarfieldPark
Throughout April, stop and learn about bird's eggs. Hunt in and
around the nature center for hidden eggs of all shapes, colors, and
sizes and learn about the birds that lay these eggs. Get a closer
look at what Ohio's birds are busy doing this time of year.
GarfieldParkNatureCenter is located off Mill Creek Lane, off the
Broadway Avenue entrance of Garfield Park Reservation in Garfield

Living History: Pisanki Workshop
Saturday, April 9 � 5 - 7 p.m.
CanalWayCenter � Ohio & Erie Canal
Celebrate local culture and the Easter season by learning to
decorate a �Pisanki� or traditional Polish Easter eggs. Artists
from the Polish Community will conduct this hands-on workshop. All
materials are provided. Registration and a $10 fee are
required. Space is limited. CanalWayCenter is located on Whittlesey
