Discover which snakes live in Cleveland Metroparks!
Learn more about the habitats and lifestyles of snakes at the
following free programs this August:
Slithering Snakes
Thursday, August 4 � 2 - 4 p.m.
GarfieldParkNatureCenter � GarfieldPark
Reservation
All ages can learn about snakes, take a snake safari and make
snake crafts. GarfieldParkNatureCenter is located off Mill Creek
Lane, off the Broadway Avenue entrance of Garfield Park Reservation

Salute to Snakes!
Saturday, August 13 � 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Rocky RiverNatureCenter � Rocky River
Reservation
Visitors can come see amazing reptiles and hear lectures from
members of Northeast Oho Association of Herpetologists. Hikes,
kids' crafts and fascinating live specimens are also part of the
day's activities. Rocky RiverNatureCenter is located at 24000
Valley Parkway in Rocky River Reservation, north of Cedar Point

And if you haven't gotten enough of our slithering friends come
to "Snakes, Turtles & Fun!" event on Saturday, August
27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Shelterhouse Picnic Area in South
Chagrin Reservation in Bentleyville. Enjoy an evening devoted to
native reptiles with, presentations and exhibits, games and crafts,
live music, the "Who's Who Hall of Reptiles," and more!
And Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists will be on hand
with a great variety of live animals. The Shelterhouse Picnic Area
is located off Hawthorn Parkway in South Chagrin Reservation, east
of SOM Center Road/Rte. 91 in Bentleyville - north of the Rte.
