Nighttime is great for some shut-eye, unless you're a nocturnal
animal! When everyone else goes to sleep, the nighttime
becomes their day.
Discover which nocturnal animals call Cleveland Metroparks home
at the free "Nature at Night" event on Saturday, July 16
from 5 to 11 p.m. at NorthChagrinNatureCenter in North Chagrin
Reservation in MayfieldVillage.
The free "Nature at Night" event celebrates the beauty
of the night and all the nocturnal residents. Visitors can
enjoy a variety of activities related to the night, including live
nocturnal animal programs, moon viewing through telescopes, a
'nighttime animal' maze, songs and stories, a starlab, a shadow
puppet program, children's crafts, self-guided nature night
stations, and more!
And, as the sun sets (9 p.m.), be sure to bring lawn
chairs/blankets to enjoy an outdoor movie on the lawn of the nature
center - this year featuring "Legend of the
Guardians."
Visitors can also browse the great merchandise selections of
EarthWords Nature Shops, and enjoy the refreshment area.
NorthChagrinNatureCenter is located off Buttermilk Falls
Parkway, off the Sunset Lane entrance of North Chagrin Reservation,
off SOM Center Road/Route 91 in MayfieldVillage - south of the
I-90/Rte. 91 exit.
