    Enjoy the great outdoors with not just one, not just two, but
    five great local bands on two stages at the free Cleveland
    Metroparks "BrookStock - A Celebration of Music &
    Nature" event on Saturday, July 23 from 2 to 8:30 p.m. at the
    Brookside Valley Event Site in Brookside Reservation in
    Cleveland. 



     



    Along with great music, "BrookStock" features vendors
    and exhibitors, kite flying demonstrations, the VolkswagenVillage,
    arts and crafts, games and activities, hikes, live animals, and
    more!



     



     "BrookStock" showcases five local bands on two
    stages with the eclectic sounds of bluegrass, jazz, Chicago-style,
    jump swing, blues, and Yiddish.  Closing the evening on the
    main stage at 6:45 p.m. is Abbey Road a Beatles tribute
    band.



     



    Featured Bands on the BrookStock Main Stage and the Scene
    Magazine Beer Garden Stage are:



     



    Main Stage -



     2 p.m. - Workman's Circle Klezmer Orchestra ~
    Yiddish



     4:30 p.m. - JiMiller Band ~ old rock 'n' roll, jazz &
    bluegrass



     6:45 p.m. - Abbey Road ~ Beatles tribute band



     



    SceneMagazineBeerGarden Stage -



     3:30 p.m. - DC - 3 ~ blues



     7 p.m. - Blue Lunch ~ Chicago-style blues & jump
    swing



     



    Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy music all day.



     



    EarthWords Nature Shop will be on site selling merchandise and
    offering a tie-dye station, too.  Visitors can buy shirts from
    EarthWords for $5, or bring their own t-shirts and print for a $1
    to create their own tie-dye shirt.  Shop staff and Scene
    Magazine volunteers will help with the dyes to help create a
    "groovy" shirt.



     



    Refreshments and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream will be available
    for sale, too.



     



    And, ages 21 and over can stop by the SceneMagazineBeerGarden
    from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Proceeds from the BeerGarden go to the
    Emerald Necklace Endowment Fund to preserve and protect Cleveland
    Metroparks for future generations.



     



    Brookside Valley Event Site is located off John Nagy Blvd., off
    the Ridge Rd. entrance of Brookside Reservation in Cleveland -
    north of the I-480/Ridge Rd. exit.
