Cleveland Metroparks invites everyone to celebrate a winter day
off - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Monday, January 17 - by
experiencing Northeast Ohio's ultimate winter thrill ride -
tobogganing at the Chalet Recreation Area in Mill Stream Run

From noon to 5 p.m. on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, visitors can
enjoy the day off with their family and friends at the Chalet
Tobogganing at the Chalet can also be enjoyed through the first
weekend of March, weather permitting, on the regular days of
- 6 - 10
- 6 - 10:30 p.m.
- noon - 10:30
- noon - 5 p.m.
The admission fee is ONLY $8 for adults and $6 for children, 11
and under, which includes the use of toboggans and unlimited rides
for the day. One-time ride tickets are also available for
$3. Plus, all Thursday nights are �Student ID Nights� - only
$5 with a valid student ID.
Group discounts and private rentals are available, too.
All riders must wear gloves or mittens. Children must be
at least 42 inches tall to ride and be accompanied by an
adult. Tobogganing may be cancelled or the hours changed due
to unfavorable weather and/or ice conditions.
In addition to the twin, 700-foot long, refrigerated ice chutes
that operate with or without snow, the Chalet Recreation Area
features a heated building with indoor/outdoor fireplaces, a main
gathering area with a large-screen television, a concession stand,
a loft area with video games, and indoor restrooms.
The Chalet Recreation Area is located at 16200 Valley Parkway in
Mill Stream Run Reservation, between Routes 42 and 82 in
