Don't get shut out of the Halloween season's most popular event - Boo at the Zoo at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! Tickets are on sale now for all eight spooky nights of Boo at the Zoo. Last year, many nights of the Zoo's annual event were sold out, so go online or drop by the Box Office and make sure you're part of the fun this year!
Now in its 22nd year, Boo at the Zoo runs from 6-9 p.m. October 20-23 and 27-30. Tickets are $8 per person and free for children younger than 2. Zoo members receive $1 off the admission price. Tickets are available online at clemetzoo.com and at the Zoo's Box Office from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
There are no tricks, only treats with animals, loads of activities, music, crafts, a complimentary goodie bag for every child and more. Kids (and parents too) are encouraged to wear fun or spooky, not scary or gory, costumes and explore the sights and sounds of the Zoo after dark.
Magicians, stilt-walkers, jugglers and costumed characters will roam the Zoo, and the Monster Mash Dance Party will turn kids of all ages into party monsters.
With so much to do, you may need to come back the next night! There's the Jack-O'-Lantern Express Train Ride, Hay Maze, Ghostly Golf, Radio Disney, creepy crawly live animal show, the Not-So-Haunted Greenhouse and of course, all the animals that make the Zoo a great place to visit year-round.
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with hours extended to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Admission is $11 per person, $8 for kids ages 2 to 11 and free for children younger than 2 and Zoo members. Parking is free. Located at 3900 Wildlife Way, the Zoo is easily accessible from Interstates 71, 90 and 480.
