    Cleveland Metroparks Institute of the Great Outdoors (IGO)
    provides a wide range of outdoor experiences to people of all
    abilities. IGO helps people develop or enhance their outdoor
    skills, knowledge and environmental ethics. Participants will enjoy
    the knowledge and expertise of seasoned instructors with all IGO
    courses and have fun at the same time.



     



    This October, IGO is offering a variety of fishing programs,
    including:



     



    Accessible Adventures - Fishing



    Saturday, October 9 � 1 - 3 p.m.



    WallaceLake � Mill Stream Run Reservation



    Enjoy a day of fishing designed for individuals with
    disabilities and their families. Learn basic casting skills, knots
    and bait selection, while trying to catch some fish. Participants,
    age 16 and over, require a current Ohio fishing license and must
    bring it to fish. A one-day license is available through the Ohio
    Department of Natural Resource's Division of Wildlife at "_blank" href=

    provided). Space is limited. WallaceLake is located off Valley
    Parkway in Mill Stream Run Reservation, south of Bagley Road in
    Berea.



     



    Family Fishing



    Sunday, October 10 � 10 a.m. -
    noon 



    ShadowLake � South Chagrin Reservation



    Learn basic casting skills, knots and bait selection, while
    trying to catch some fish. Participants, age 16 and over, require a

    ShadowLake is located off Hawthorn Parkway in South Chagrin
    Reservation, between Richmond and Solon roads in Solon.



     



    Steelhead Fly Fishing Basics



    Saturday, October 16 -OR- Saturday, October 23 � 11
    a.m. - 2 p.m.

    This short, trout-fishing class is designed to give participants
    basic information on fly fishing gear and casting techniques to
    become better fishermen. Rods are provided, but participants should
    bring their own waders to practice on-stream casting. A $30 fee per
    person is required. Space is limited. RockyRiverNatureCenter is
    located at 24000 Valley Parkway in Rocky River Reservation, north
    of Cedar Point Road in North Olmsted.
