Halloween is quickly approaching, and a great way to celebrate
    is with Cleveland Metroparks.

Bring friends and family to celebrate the season at the
    following Halloween-related programs:

    UnNatural Trail

    Saturday, October 30 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

    CanalWayCenter Ohio & Erie Canal
    Reservation

A fall trail of "UnNatural" items has been set up
outside CanalWayCenter. Visit the center for a list of what to look
for while walking the trail. Items will be camouflaged to blend in
with nature. CanalWayCenter is located on Whittlesey Way, off the
East 49th Street entrance of Ohio & Erie Canal
Reservation, between Grant Avenue and Canal Road in
CuyahogaHeights. For more information, call 216-206-1000.

    Spectacular Spiders

    Saturday, October 30 1 - 3 p.m.

    GarfieldParkNatureCenter GarfieldPark
    Reservation

Even those of us who think spiders are creepy can often admit
that they are fascinating. Stop in anytime between 1 and 3 p.m. to
meet some of our local spiders up close. And, maybe a couple
visitors might even stop by! While there, make a spider craft, have
a spider-style snack and more. Come learn about the spiders that
will soon be trying to move into your house to avoid the winter
weather. GarfieldParkNatureCenter is located off Mill Creek Lane,
off the Broadway Avenue entrance of Garfield Park Reservation in
Garfield Heights. For more information, call 216-341-3152.

    Halloween Moonlight Golf

Mastick Woods Golf Course Rocky River
    Reservation - or -

    Shawnee Hills Golf Course Bedford
    Reservation

    Fee: $20 per person

To wear a costume for a chance to win a prize or to just play
golf at night, that is the question for golfers at the special
Halloween Moonlight Golf event. As usual, golfers challenge their
night vision while playing nine holes with a glow-in-the-dark
"Nitelite" golf ball. The shotgun start at 6:15 p.m.
takes players into a night world of golf, with glowing golf balls,
tees and greens. However, duffers who don a costume to play qualify
for the chance to win best male or best female costume - voted on
as a "People's Choice" by fellow golfers at the event.
Registration and a $20 entry fee are required. Space is
limited. Mastick Woods Golf Course is located at 19900 Puritas
Road in Rocky River Reservation in Cleveland.Shawnee Hills Golf
