Abracadabra, the monarchs are here, but catch a glimpse of them
now, before they disappear!
Experience Cleveland Metroparks"black"> "Monarch Magic" event on Saturday, September 11
from noon to 4 p.m. at NorthChagrinNatureCenter in
Monarchs are well-known for their magic
tricks. Their first trick is turning from a caterpillar into
a butterfly and the second trick is their disappearing act!
With fall around the corner and winter not too far behind, monarch
butterflies begin their migration to as far as Mexico!
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities at the free
"Monarch Magic" event, including a live butterfly area,
banding of migrating monarchs, movies, puppet shows, children's
crafts and activities, live music, and more!
Guest speaker Susan Wiedmann speaks at 1 p.m. on
"Butterflies of Northeast Ohio."
And, enjoy two great movies in the auditorium:
at noon, "Saving the Monarchs," and at 3 p.m., "On
the Wings of Monarchs."

Nature Shop, and enjoy a refreshment area.
