Cleveland Metroparks invites adults and children to spend time
relaxing in the park by enjoying some nature-related art and craft
projects.
The following programs are offered this
November:
Heritage Hobbies: Felting
Friday, November 19 � 6:30 - 10 p.m. -OR- Saturday, November 20
� 1 - 4 p.m.
GarfieldParkNatureCenter � GarfieldPark Reservation
Ages 16 and older, can learn the ancient skill of felting which
is still alive today. In many cultures around the world,
people live in felt homes, others wear felt clothing. In the
United States, it often takes the form of wearable art. Each
participant will complete a one-of-a-kind felt scarf.
Registration and a $20 fee are required.
GarfieldParkNatureCenter is located off Mill Creek Lane, off the
Broadway Avenue entrance of Garfield Park Reservation in Garfield

Painting a Landscape Workshop

Look About Lodge � South Chagrin Reservation
Ever been inspired by beautiful scenery? This two-part workshop
gives participants a chance to try their hand at painting a
landscape. No experience necessary. Must attend both
sessions. Registration and a $5 fee are required. Look About Lodge
is located at 37374 Miles Road in South Chagrin Reservation,
between SOM Center Road/Route 91 and Chagrin River Road in

Natural Cordage

Make cordage (fine rope) from natural materials with methods
used by Native Americans. This program is for adults. Rocky
RiverNatureCenter is located at 24000 Valley Parkway in Rocky River
