Interested in trying something new and exciting? Then,
join Cleveland Metroparks Institute of the Great Outdoors on an
"Escape to Nature" trip!
Cleveland Metroparks Institute of the Great Outdoors (IGO)
provides a wide range of outdoor recreational experiences to people
of all abilities. Participants can enjoy the knowledge and
expertise of seasoned instructors with all IGO courses and trips,
and have fun at the same time.
Take a journey with IGO on an "Escape to Nature" trip
offered in January 2011 and discover nature and wildlife in a
unique way!
Hike (snowshoe) the Hocking Hills

Join a two-day winter exploration of one of Ohio's treasured
natural areas. Stay in comfortable cabins in HockingHillsState Park
and hike or snowshoe at an easy pace to interpret this natural
winter wonderland. There is a fee of $195 (includes lodging, dinner
Saturday night and on-site transportation). This program is
for adults. Space is limited.

IGO goals are to provide learning opportunities which promote
personal growth, ethical relationships with nature, and low-impact
