Cleveland Metroparks Zoo invites you to spend your winter break on the wild side during December Days -- with discounted admission, holiday entertainment, photos with Santa Claus and more!
December Days runs December 20-24 and 26-30. Discounted admission those days is just $6 per person, $4 for kids ages 2-11 and free for children younger than 2 and Zoo members. Special seasonal activities are scheduled daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ice carving demonstrations will greet visitors on the Welcome Plaza, and live holiday music will fill the Wolf Lodge and The RainForest.
Santa Claus will pose for pictures December 20-24 in the Wolf Lodge, where kids can also make an eco-friendly craft.
Warm up in The RainForest, where it’s always a toasty 78 to 80 degrees, and decorate some holiday cookies. Then bundle up and visit the winter loving animals of Northern Trek, including bears, tigers, camels and reindeer.
The Zoo offers complimentary heated transportation all winter long. The Zoo is closed Christmas Day, December 25, and New Year’s Day, January 1.
Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Regular discounted winter admission through March 31, 2011, is $7 per person, $5 for kids ages 2-11 and free for children younger than 2 and Zoo members. Parking is free.
