Cleveland Metroparks and travel back in time and learn some of the
exciting history, natural and cultural, in and around the Park

Wildlife Then and Now

Go on a 2-mile hike with Naturalist David Dvorak to discover
how Ohio's wildlife has changed over the last 500 years. Some
wildlife has gone extinct or has been extirpated, while other
species are threatened with extinction and others are plentiful.
Rocky River Nature Center is located at 24000 Valley Parkway in
Rocky River Reservation, north of Cedar Point Road in North

Hiking the Squaw Rock Trail? Naturalist Carly Martin is at the
rock, weather permitting, ready to share history and nature with
anyone passing by. Squaw Rock is located adjacent to Squaw Rock
Picnic Area in South Chagrin Reservation, off Hawthorn Parkway,
east of SOM Center Road/Route 91 in Bentleyville. For more

Hauger lead a history/nature adventure on bicycle through the
northern portion of Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation's all-purpose

Want to know more about the history of LakeAbram? Join
Naturalist John Miller for a 2-mile hike along the LakeAbram
section of the Lake to Lake Trail to learn the hidden stories from
this area. Lake Abram parking lot is located off Eastland Road in
Big Creek Reservation, between Bagley and Sheldon Roads in
