If so, join Cleveland Metroparks for the "Surveying Snakes andSingers in South Chagrin" program on Saturday, July 10 from6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Jackson Field in South ChagrinReservation. Adults can join Naturalists Carly Martin and Stefanie Verish, for anighttime walk in search of snakes and singing insects of everysort. The search is held during 'prime time' for snakes andsinging insects. Special techniques such as the use of ultra violet lights, will beused to discover, catch and identify a variety of snakes in SouthChagrin Reservation. Snakes that are found will be identified, measured, weighed, andreleased. Visitors are encouraged to take pictures of theirdiscoveries! Long pants and bug spray are recommended for this program. Registration is required and space is limited. Jackson Field is located off Jackson Road in South ChagrinReservation, north of Miles Road in Moreland Hills.
