They say dogs are man's "best friend." So, why not spend
some quality time together in the beauty of nature?

This July, Cleveland Metroparks offers three free programs just for
    dogs and their owners:

    Dog Days Walk

    Saturday, July 3
    8 - 9:30 a.m.

    Hinckley Hills Trailhead
    Hinckley Reservation

Start the long holiday weekend with your "best
friend" on a 2.5-mile, naturalist-guided hike. Enjoy the
exercise, camaraderie and summer happenings. Walkers without dogs
are welcome, too. Registration is required. Hinckley Hills
Trailhead is located off Hinckley Hills Road in Hinckley
Reservation, between Bellus Road and Kellogg Drive in
HinckleyTownship. For more information and to register, call
    440-526-1012.

    Dog Hike

    NorthChagrinNatureCenter
     North Chagrin Reservation

Bring the "best friends" to the park for some exercise
and socialization. This month, hike 1.6 miles on the Hickory Fox

Yappy Hour: Mill Stream Run Reservation

    Wednesday, July 14
    2 - 3:30 p.m.

Royalview Picnic Area Mill Stream Run Reservation

Make no bones about it: Mill Stream Run Reservation is a great
place to walk with dogs! Visitors can bring their pooches and join
Naturalist Bethany Majeski for a 2.5-mile, rugged woodland hike.
Climb hills, play in the water and sniff good smells; can life get
any better? Royalview Picnic Area is located off Royalview Lane in
Mill Stream Run Reservation, off Valley Parkway, just south of
Royalton Road/Route 82 in Strongsville. For more information, call
