    pollinators held in July at Rocky River Nature Center in Rocky

    inside the nature center's beehive. This activity is weather

    Explore the fascinating world of pollinators
    with Judy Semroc, a field biologist and photographer. These
    highly-evolved creatures (mostly insects) make possible one out of
    three foods eaten. After Semroc's talk, take nets to the meadow to
    see what pollinators can be found.

    Pollinators are disappearing from our natural
    landscape. Come learn how to save the pollinators by planting a
    flower garden to attract these winged wonders. Pollination will
    save the nation!

    Learn about life in the honeybee hive from
    Naturalist Kathy Schmidt, who is also a beekeeper. How do they make
    honey? What does the queen do all day? Do they ever rest? Bring
    questions and curiosity to this fascinating program.

    In addition to these programs, everyone
    is invited to attend the free �Pollinator Power�
    Weekend at Rocky River Nature Center on Saturday and Sunday,
    July 31 and August 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. Pollinators are responsible
    for most of the food humans eat and plants humans love. Visitors
    can meet a beekeeper, learn how to attract pollinators to yards,
    and take a net out with a naturalist to identify some of these
    beloved bugs.
