Summer's not over yet, but Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is gearing up for its wildly popular family-friendly Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo. Tickets for this sell-out event go on sale Monday, August 16. This year, buying tickets early can save money. Tickets are only $6 in August, $7 in September and $8 in October and can be purchased online at clemetzoo.com or by visiting the Zoo Box office during regular hours (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.). Kids under 2 are free and Cleveland Zoo members receive $1 off the ticket price. Boo at the Zoo runs October 21-24 & 28-31 from 6-9 p.m. and offers scores of spooky, but not scary, entertainment. Magicians, witches, clowns, stilt-walkers, jugglers, storytellers and more roam the Zoo. You'll see animals under the stars and experience the Creepy Crawly Critter Live Animal Show, the Jack-O-Lantern Express Train Ride, the Halloween Hay Maze and more. Plus, all kids receive a complimentary treat bag! Everyone's encouraged to wear fun costumes that aren't too scary. Boo at the Zoo offers eight nights of Halloween fun in a safe environment, so be sure to buy your tickets early. The only scary part of Boo is missing out!
