Join Naturalist Mindy Murdock for an up-close
look at the world of insects and spiders. The entire family can
search for grasshoppers, butterflies, spiders, dragonflies, and
other 6- or 8-legged critters with nets provided from the nature

Parkway, off the Sunset Lane entrance of North Chagrin Reservation,

Enjoy an evening hike with Naturalist Carly
Martin and discover what inhabits the woods of Jackson Field at
dusk. Look for critters of all kinds, including snakes! Wear sturdy
shoes and long pants for this partly off-trail hike. Jackson Field
is located off Miles Road in South Chagrin Reservation, east of SOM

Listen and learn through the ancient art form of
storytelling. Hear tales of clever insights into how little humans
have really changed. This program is recommended for adults and

Join naturalists for an evening hike through the riverside and
forests above Squaw Rock before returning to a dinner around the
campfire. Everyone is assigned a food item to bring upon

the bottom of our oceans. In a film narrated by Naturalist David
Attenborough, discover the mountain ranges, large-toothed creatures
and spectacular "smoking chimneys" in the perpetual
nights of the deep ocean. Popcorn will be provided, and doors open

Welcome the fall season with a family hayride
through the reservation. Snacks provided. Registration, from
September 1 through September 20, is required. Space is limited.
There is a $2 fee for ages three and older. Ages two and under are
