All summer, cyclists have participated in Cleveland Metroparks
"Tour de Necklace," a series of leisurely cycling tours
of some of the area's most interesting places, stopping along the
way to discover natural and cultural points of interest.
On Sunday, September 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 3
p.m., cyclists can participate in the last leg of Cleveland
Metroparks "Tour de Necklace."
The 18-mile tour takes place in South Chagrin
Reservation. This beautiful ride begins at The Shelterhouse Picnic
Area and takes riders across the watershed break between the
Chagrin and CuyahogaRivers. Riders will relax for lunch at
ShadowLake and then pedal back.
Space is limited, and registration is required. One person
may register for two cyclists.
The Shelterhouse Picnic Area
is located off Hawthorn Parkway in South Chagrin Reservation,
east of SOM Center Road/Route 91 in Bentleyville.
For more information and to register, call 216-206-1000.
Enjoy a pleasant afternoon peddling the
"Tour de Necklace" through Cleveland Metroparks
- part of your life, naturally!
