Euclid Creek Reservation Trail Planning Efforts

Eastern Ledge Trail
The Eastern Ledge Trail is project to connect a recent expansion of the reservation to the existing trail network. Proposed is a paved all purpose trail along a portion of the newly acquired land in Richmond Heights along with natural surface trails and/or boardwalks to connect across to the Welsh Woods Picnic Area across a new suspension bridge over Euclid Creek.
Euclid Creek Greenway
The Euclid Creek Greenway is a proposed trail to connect the lower portion of Euclid Creek Reservation to its lakefront portion. The greenway is broken up in several phases. Phase 1 will begin construction in spring 2022 to extent the all purpose trail from Euclid Creek Parkway and Highland Road, including a new traffic signal with pedestrian countdown timers at the Highland Road intersection, to Euclid Avenue and Chardon Road. Funding is being pursued for future phases to continue through the former Euclid Central Middle School property and northward. Download map.
