Euclid Creek Reservation Trail Planning
Eastern Ledge Trail
The Eastern Ledge Trail is a project to connect a recent expansion of the reservation to the existing trail network. The trail consists of paved all purpose trail along a portion of the newly acquired land in Richmond Heights along with natural surface trails and/or boardwalks to connect across to the Welsh Woods Picnic Area across a new suspension bridge over Euclid Creek. The project officially opens on October 27, 2022. Download map.

Euclid Creek Greenway
The Euclid Creek Greenway is a multi-phased proposed trail project to connect the lower portion of Euclid Creek Reservation to its lakefront portion. Phase 1 had its groundbreaking on October 19, 2022, and will open in summer 2023. Phase 1 extends the all purpose trail from the intersection of Euclid Creek Parkway and Highland Road, including a new traffic signal with pedestrian countdown timers, to Euclid Avenue and Chardon Road. Phase 2 design will begin in late 2022 and completion is anticipated in summer 2023, and will extend the trail across Euclid Avenue through the former Euclid Central Middle School property. Funding has been secured for a feasibility study of the connection from the end of Phase 2 to the lakefront that will begin in early 2023. Download map.
