Rivergate, a 2.8 acre parcel in the center of Cleveland's Flats
District, will serve as Cleveland Metroparks recreational hub along
the Cuyahoga River. A planned safe launch area for people-powered
watercraft will provide the only public access to launch watercraft
on the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland Metroparks. A waterfront
promenade, a concession area, restrooms and an outdoor classroom
are also under development. While under construction, the concession area is still taking rental requests (find out more). Cleveland Metroparks popular Institute
of the Great Outdoors will provide outdoor recreational programming
and training at this green recreational oasis.
