Cleveland Metroparks has three designated natural surface mountain bike trails that are shared use with hikers. Mountain Biking is not permitted within the park from one-half hour after sunset until one-half hour before sunrise or when the trail is closed.
Before riding, please check trail conditions. Riding on wet trails can have a negative impact on the trails potentially causing ruts that would take hours upon hours to repair. In order to be good stewards of the land and have trails that are enjoyable to ride all season, please help us by not riding when trail conditions are unsuitable.
Located near Egbert Picnic Area and Bridle Veil Falls, nearly 10 miles of trail consists of loops off the paved all purpose trail and is beginner friendly.
Located in Mill Stream Run Reservation, the trail consists of two loops totaling about 10 miles of beginner to intermediate level single track trails.
Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation
Designed with a short loop of about 1/2 mile for beginners with minimal mountain biking skills and a 1 ½ mile long loop with some steep terrain for the more experienced intermediate rider, the trail consists of a total of 2 miles of single track with plenty of paved all purpose trails nearby to increase your mileage. The single track mountain bike trail is open May through December. For more information, call 440-331-8313 or visit www.camba.us.
In addition to the natural surface trails, Mountain bikes are permitted on roadways, the over 100 miles of shared-use, paved, all purpose trails, and other paths designated for use of bicycles. Mountain bikes or any bike are not permitted on hiking or bridle trails unless it is part of one of the mountain biking trails listed above. The Traffic Code is applicable whenever a bicycle is operated.
