Art Display: A Battle in Our Backyards

One is a collection of invasive insect collages made of pressed invasive plant species found in Northeast Ohio. Appalachian Lifestyles Adult Day Camp - Redwing Cabin

During this camp teens will be trained to help us with this year’s summer camps. Campers will learn natural history, games, leadership skills, and crafts. After completing camp training, teens can sign up to be a Volunteer Junior Naturalist for a Look About Lodge summer camp. Mountain Bike Race Series

Challenge yourself with an off-road time trial. Racers will complete one lap on marked single track at the new Royalview Trail. Classes will be broken into men, women, beginners, advanced, and youth. Enter the 2013 Senior Greater Cleveland Amateur Championship, to be played at Big Met, Wednesday and Thursday, July 17 and 18. This 36-hole stroke play tournament will be contested at scratch, and is open to amateur golfers 50 years of age and over, of any gender or residence. Dog Paddle and Pet-a-Palooza

It's not raining cats and dogs, just hundreds of dogs at Cleveland Metroparks Ledge Pool for the annual Dog Paddle and Pet-a-Palooza. Visitors can bring their non-aggressive dogs to swim at Ledge Pool for a nominal donation ($5/per dog) that benefits the Medina County SPCA.  A mini dog fair will also be held on the grounds with exhibitors and vendors to purchase items to pamper the pooches.
