West Creek Reservation Park Improvements - Update No. 1

West Creek Reservation was closed Friday April 8 for the long anticipated construction of improvements to West Creek Reservation including the Watershed Center, maintenance facility, reserved picnic area with flush restrooms, new entry drive, all purpose trail and nature trails. Construction began last week with the installation of orange fence along the project’s “construction limits” an area of active building that is closed to the public. Clearing operations began April 11 and will be followed by the pad preparation activities for both the Watershed Center and the management facility. The north entrance to the reservation off Ridgewood Drive is closed at this time but Parma’s Center Park (on Park Drive off of State Road/ Route 94) provides visitor access to the southern portion of West Creek Reservation. Completion of construction is set for spring 2013.
